Our Mission

Highland Woodchip is dedicated to producing and supplying top-quality woodchip fuel for the Biomass marketplace. We are a BSL registered company with full RHI compliance and we are also ‘Woodsure’ accredited, this means that our biomass wood fuel meets with the sustainability criteria and is quality assured following our annual Woodsure audits on processes and product quality as well as recording and documenting our woodchip deliveries and quality standards.

We can deliver on our client’s chosen Moisture Content and Particle Sizing for their specific biomass boiler requirements this is crucial to achieving the most efficient biomass system.

We offer products suited to commercial, industrial and domestic users of Biomass woodchip fuel. With two woodchip drying and processing plants in Grantown-on-Spey in the highlands and Irvine in Ayrshire, we are able to cover a wide geographical area throughout Scotland.

Our high levels of Customer Service ensure we satisfy both private and commercial clients.

The majority of our customers are hotels, leisure centres and industrial premises. We also have a number of contracts to supply schools and hospitals. As well as supplying numerous domestic properties.

As none of our customers can afford to have downtime on their heating systems, it is imperative that we fulfil our contracts and make planned deliveries in a timely manner with the correct wood fuel specification to our customers’ satisfaction.

All communications with our customers are carried out in a clear and concise way, either by phone, via e-mail, or in face-to-face meetings.
